I'm currently reading Deep Down With Dennis Brown by early reggae writer Penny Reel which details the scene in London in the 70s. We The Raggamuffin. A short drama by Julian Henriques set in Peckham in 1992 giving an insight in the culture; music, fashion and violence at that time. My parents moved away from there when I was born so it's interesting to get an image of what it looked like then. With the gentrification of the area there isn't a better time for this to resurface (via Dazed & Confused). There's also subtitles for those of you who don't speak 'english'.
